Web MTST ini sebenarnya adalah hasil pertama saya merekabentuk laman web bukan untuk kegunaan sendiri. Bersyukur sebab diberi amanah macam ni. Orang buat bangunan sekolah dan masjid, kita buat laman web untuk kegunaan pelajar. Paling tidak, hobi membuat web ini ada jugak faedah nya. Right? Nak tahu lebih lanjut tentang sekolah Maahad Tahfiz Sains Tumpat, kena lah lawati web nya. Just click screenshoot gambar web di bawah. Kalau boleh kasi komen lagi bagus.

Ini juga kali pertama saya merekabentuk web menggunakan joomla. Bagus nya platform joomla ni, sebab ia fleksible, dari simple sampai ke premium yang complicated macam laman web kolej dan universiti. Plugin pun boleh tahan banyak, macam wordpress. Yang fallback nya sebab kebanyakan yang sempoi adalah plugin berbayar. Kalau yang percuma pun paling tidak, ada credit link kat bawah sekali. Apa pun, advantage disadvantage, pro cons joomla ni akan saya sambung di catatan akan datang. Nak kena buat eksperimen sikit baru best. Saya ada banyak lagi projek merekabentuk web guna platform joomla. Jadi insyaAllah, saya akan kongsi idea dan tip di masa depan. Sampai jumpa lagi.

Oh yeah, this blog was abandoned till few days ago and now I’m thinking on writing again with no niche to focus on. It’s more like, I want to try improve my writing skill. I’m not really good with English really. English is my third, if not forth language here. At most, I only use English looking for online  info and reading material but not much for writing and speaking. So expect me to write anything that come to my mind and please ignore my spelling mistakes and grammar. This blog will cover vast topics on anything that interest me. May be a little bit about my personal life so better skip or just stop right away if you don’t want to read on.

Just for a short information, I owned 5 blogs in total. Just made an additional  new one a week ago. It’s starting to get visitors and I’m happy about that. And this statistic is about my 4 other blogs combined.

The title sounds a little too extreme right? but I honestly think it’s an appropriate title for this post,  and I’m not talking about someone else here in particular but me myself.

With today’s current technology, we can just googling and looking up for everything on the internet. I’m pretty sure you have at least few pages of your favorite sites bookmarked in your browser. That’s pretty much the same for me, but I can tell you that one of my bookmarking folder is full with pages of manga sites.

Currently my manga hotspots are onemanga, mangafox and aniphomeunix. Those are my sources for reading manga online. And I can not wait for Friday night to read my favorite shounen jump series. Naruto, one piece, bleach, bakuman.. et cetera et cetera and the list goes on. You can probably just ask me, and I’ve probably read them all. But don’t ask me about shoujo, I can count how many of them were read by me. Never glance at them even once except by recommendation. But it need to have a male protagonist, that’s a must. Hehe (certain someone will be bothered reading this. We always argue over the best genre of manga)

Hm, I’m all grown up but don’t be surprised to see me walking near a comic bookshelf in a store even now.  What’s wrong with that?! Well nothing really. It doesn’t mean that we’re old and can’t read manga. You’re never too old for managa and if you’ve never known before, the manga today has a wide range that suits different age range. But as time passed, I’m not sure what to read anymore. I like to read a complete manga with a good story and drawing. Just waiting really kind of bothers me. How I wished there are unlimited supply of manga to read. *sigh*

Since long ago, I always like Akira toriyama art work. I know you are thinking about dragon ball right? But there are a lot more like Dr Slump and such. There are also other veteran mangaka like Fujiko F. Fujio (creator of doraemon that I like when I was a kid) and Mitsuru Adachi. May be you are not familiar with Mitsuru Adachi. And I love his work. Most of them are about sport specifically about baseball. The current series that he’s been drawing is cross game and it has been made into an anime as well. Well, you know about these mangaka, they have their own original trademark and drawing style. Just by looking at the manga character can tell who is the mangaka. It was sort of like the main tool in deciding and also to tell how they can be a legend in Japanese manga field. Talking about style, I can not forget to mention Crayon Shin Chan. I can laugh all day reading them, lol. It has a very unique ugly style of drawing but I can not resist the ‘beautifulness’ of the manga.  Hmm, I can write and talk non-stop about manga, so I better stop..

Anyway, as for this obsession, I think that being preoccupied with working and such is a good cure. There are lot to think and to do especially when we  are all grown up. I can say that manga become some sort of entertainment for me.  Think it can give a particular effect to me if I’ve become all to obssesed – an Otaku in denial? Haha. For example, after I read a certain good manga till the last chapter and if the story is too touching I’ll be gloomy for a whole day. Not to mention that the time consumed to finish it sometimes up to 24 hours straight. Just a little break to eat and do some personal stuff. Do you think this is normal or do you have this sort of problem too?

Mainly on how to search keyword for your post.  Of course, it need to be accompanied by good seo technique but I guess you know it better than me. Onsite and offsite SEO bla bla bla..

OK, the main idea of searching specific keyword is for your post to rank high in search engine. Better search ranking means more visitors flooding your site and more income if your site is focusing on making money online. Thus more readers so more feedbacks you will get. Well, no matter what it’s still every blogger dream to get more and more visitors to visit his / her site everyday, doesn’t it?

This one secret might not really be a secret for a pro blogger. But just in case you overlooked it, and not realizing it, I’ll try to open your eye using this post. Because all these things that will be mentioned next are free to grab and easy to understand.

This free service that I mentioned is Google webmaster tools. You are familiar with the service right? or at least heard of it. The first thing that you did when you start blogging was accessing this service. Yes, by submitting your site and get indexed by Google. It’s not a compulsory thing to do, really, but by submitting your sitemap to Google, at least Google will get notices on every additional posts on your blog. It will also help you to track any error and to know how your site’s going around the Google network.

OK, one of the features is that you can check top queries that has been made to your site. It’s not so accurate but it is something that will help on your site’s growth and development. Especially if you are just a small blogger and you never wanted to spend any money on getting advance softwares to help you. If you look at it closely, you will notice there is 2 parts of queries. One is queries that been made, and another one is queries that had been used to access your site.

Next, our main focus is queries that has been made, and whether it is used to visit your site or not. You will notice that it also includes your rank in the Google search ranking and count of queries in percentage. Believe it or not, sometimes you will see that the most searched keyword that relate to your site is a keyword with lower position or rank (1 is highest, 2, 3 and so forth are lower). For my case, this keyword is not really a keyword that I focus. It’s just an extra info in one of my post with few phrases that contain those words. *sigh*

This is an example from one of my blog. My blog is focusing on health and fitness, so how did celebrity keyword can pop up among my queries and on top of it sit first place on the list. Oh well, I forgot to mention that queries can be separated into websearch, blogsearch, image search etc. So this one might  have been from the image search.. And one more thing, you can only get this type of result after your sites are well established or at least indexed by Google.

Now for brainstorming, if I can get a lot of queries upon a keyword that I totally have not focus on, what will happen if I spend my time and make ready a post using the keyword. For this keyword to pop up just like that, means the keyword is easy to get rank, as a short less competitive keyword. It may turn out 1mil result from search engine but those posts  are not focus around the keyword and still lack SEO. Anyway, for health topic I’m not really sure how to make a post focused mainly on celebrities. At most I can use her as an example as someone who look sexy and fit like I use before

Anyway, I really did use this technique on my other blog and I can see the result. Yeah, because all my blogs focus on secondary keyword that came from post title, that’s how I use SEO. So when I found a suitable keyword through Google webmaster tools, all I did was make a new post using the keyword and make a link back (anchor link) to the old post or vice versa.  Well, I’m not really sure about SEO using image but I do know that when we post image, make sure to change the image name into a keyword. And do not forget to put alternate label or title for the image too. When trying to place an image, make sure to place it next to the paragraph that contain keyword, and use suitable image.

So, I think you get the rough idea on what I’m tying to tell here. Do not underestimate free services. Sometimes it can really make a difference. A big difference really.

SO, PaperCraft Art Creative is a blog where I share my art work and some of other papercrafters. The site is focusing broad topics of paper crafts. Paper models are just one of it, there are more such as origami, paper dolls, letterheads, cards, packaging, notepads and such.  The main point for me is that to help visitors initiate the ideas and provide some information.

Personally, the best part of paper crafts, origami, paper dolls and such is that you can do it on your own. This site was primarily to encourage more people to be able to make their own beautiful and cute arts with their own hands – it’ll be more sentimental when you puts your thoughts into it. Alas, it’ll mean a lot to those who receives them.

How to jumpstart google adsense earning

Have you heard the reports about guys who pull down thousands of dollars a month with Google AdSense? Have you heard the stories about 10% click through rates and $1-$5 earnings per click? Have you ever wished you could figure out how they do it and start making real profits with AdSense? If so, prepare for a great ride, because I’m going to show you how it’s done…

Google Adsense is a powerful online advertising program that involves a massive network of literally millions of websites. The program was first designed to run only text-based ads in a variety of sizes, but has now expanded into image-based ads as well. The text ads have been so successful because they are usually highly relevant to the subject matter of the site upon which they are displayed.

Google’s Adsense is also one of the most powerful weapons in website publisher’s arsenal. It enables you to monetize your sites easily and if used properly can generate a very healthy income. However, if you’re not using it properly and maximizing the income you squeeze from it, your leaving money on the table something we all hate doing.

In order to maximize your AdSense earnings, you need five things: 1) the right ad format and placement, 2) the most valuable keywords to target, 3) lots and lots of targetted content, 4) relevancy of your websites, 5) better statistical tracking that Google will EVER give you.

Right Ads Format

The first order of business to make the most money with AdSense is to get your Click Through Rate (CTR) up. It doesn’t matter how much traffic you have or how high your Earnings Per Click (EPC) is if people aren’t clicking on the ads!

In order to maximize your AdSense click through rates (CTR), there are five rules you must do:

1. Use the one ad format which outperforms the rest by far. Use the 250 x 250 rectangle format.

2. Put your ads in the best location on the page (and it’s not where most AdSense publishers are putting their ads).

3. Use the right color combinations that will keep your visitors from ignoring the ads because of “banner blindness”.

4. Make the background color of the ad the same as the background color of your site, or as close to it as possible.

5. Make the ads borderless by setting the border color to be the same as the background color of the ad.

Keywords

The words you choose to use on your AdSense pages are incredibly important!

They are important because AdWords advertisers bid on very specific keywords for their advertisements, and some of those keywords have much higher bid values than others. If your subject matter is generally the same, but those specific keywords are not on your page, you’ll get the lower paying ads showing up in your AdSense blocks.

Content

Writing content rich, keyword targetted articles is important, and I encourage you to do this daily. But to get started on the road to AdSense , you need a boost to get you going: a boost of THOUSANDS of articles ready for you to place your AdSense code on them and upload to your website!

Content-rich articles can be freely used on any website as long as the “About the Author” information is kept in the articles. All these articles need is for your site header and footer to be added and your AdSense code to be slaped on them. They are a fantastic way to get those paying clicks going.

Relevancy

The relevancy of your Adsense ads is probably the most crucial factor of all. If you have a website that provides information about local landscaping companies, it will do little good to place ads on your site selling light bulbs. In fact, there’s a good chance that ads for light bulbs on such a site would not elicit any click-troughs, failing to provide the website owner with ad revenue. This situation plays out all the time on website displaying Google Adsense ads. On most sites with common themes, or at least themes related to something someone is trying to sell, the ads will be quite relevant. This is one of the most amazing features of the Adsense program  its ability to tell what your site is about (by analyzing keywords on your site), and displaying ads that relate to that subject.

Tracking

You need to TEST, TEST, TEST your adsense.

You’ve got to keep track of the results all of your marketing endeavors brings you, and focus on those which are giving you the best Return On Investment (ROI).

Even if you don’t spend a dime on marketing your AdSense website, you still need to track your efforts with ranking in the search engines, your efforts in link trading, your efforts with content building, etc. Those efforts are your investment, and you need to know which ones are paying off and which ones are wasting your time.

Adsense has some excellent tracking statistics that allow you to track your results across a number of sites on a site by site, page by page, or just about any other basis you choose. This is a very powerful tool and you should use it to find out which ads are performing best for you and fine tune your Adsense and Adlink ads accordingly.

How to choose the best make money online program to join?

This is what I ask myself at first.

1. Look for people’s review
This can be done by looking at a few well-known forum boards or blogs, though I favor forums more than blogs. Blogs have more or less like personal reviews while forums can be participated and debated by all the forum members which make it more relevant, especially when an expert sharing his/her experience. You can also choose to take a peek at the program official forums or public forums, which discuss current profitable online money-maker available.

Recommended forums that you can view and participate in: digitalpoint forum, warrior forum, and the list goes on.

2. Self study
Look for the respective company’s history that offers the program before joining it. This is to ensure that it is reputable and the program is not a scam. Don’t forget to also check the minimum pay out, the method(s) of payment etc. As for affiliate programs, please make sure to look for the percentage of commission given for each sale. On a whole actually, there are lots of things that you should take into account before joining any money making programs, especially the ones that will eventually takes a lot of your time and effort and when you’re just simply serious about the whole thing.

In make money online and blogging, pulling visitors from search engine is vital whether you are promoting products or trying to earn money through advertisement. So, to get the prospects to visit your site regardless of the promotion, you need to focus on a few things. These few things are called as the SEO, layout and content quality. Many would know what is layout and content quality but few actually heard or understand what is SEO really is. For a beginner, SEO stands for Search Engine Optimization and the purpose is getting high search engine rank for your site.

Next, you need to monitor and analyze your site from time to time. In my previous post, I explained the first chapter of blogging cycles. Therefore in this post, as a finishing and complimentary to the previous post, I will continue with the basic of blogging cycles. Please take note that, these two posts only explain the most basic and fundamentals. For each elements, there are lot of things that can be discuss and argue subjectively. As for there is no perfect winning method in blogging since many factors are involved and there are also many things that effect these factors as well.

Second cycle – feedback > analysis > maintaining

For each action that you made, it will only be a matter of time for you to receive feedbacks even if it’s only a few. This is a good sign, however. It shows that your works are actually viewed by people and the world (even if it’s ‘bots’). It is also a sign that your blog are actually up and working. Example if you put a new post you will see if the post indexed in search engine, is there any visitors from the search engine, has the post received any comments et cetera.

These are the example of things you may get from the analysis as feedbacks:-

Site – popular pages, number page viewed, bounce rate.

Visitors – number, region, keyword used, search engine used, time staying on the site.

Profit – amount profit, per daily or weekly basis, potential based on objectives.

Nevertheless, still you may want to narrow down the feedbacks into few major parts. On my part, I always monitored the number of visitors, page viewed, bounce rate, time staying on the site and the exit link. This is because each of them will justify whether your site has a good potential or not. Here it is suggested to have good analytical tools. At the meantime, I’m using Google analytic to monitor visitors number and bounce rate. It represents data in an interesting way, together with relevant graphs and graphics. All of these are set to be done on daily basis. But you have the choice to narrow down analysis into weekly and daily periods, with daily basis giving you a more accumulated view on how things are going. The other tool I used is Addfreestats. Since it is a real time analytical tool, it can track down visitors’ activities, including specific entering time, page viewed and exit link, which is rather convenient for further analysis input.

Now comes the brain cracking part. Well, that may be a little exaggerating, but you may want to spend some real time analyzing the feedbacks that you get from the analysis tools as wells as on all the comments and other kinds of feedbacks. As I mentioned before, each element will indicate something. For example, the increase of numbers of visits means that your site is popular and has better exposure to readers. Bounce rate indicates the probability that your site has what the readers seek. Low bounce rate means the readers actually took their time exploring you site and viewed more than a page from your site. This data is accompanied by how long the visitors stay on your site too.

But take a note; 0 sec does not mean your visitor stay 0 second and exit your site. It means that your visitor only viewed one page then closed the browser for your page. That’s why it did not have the record for time. Most importantly is your visitors’ exit page. This is because here, it will determine if the visitor can bring you profit or not. If the visitor exits using your Adsense advertisement for example you will almost definitely be earning some penny. If the person exits using your referral link, that is a good thing too. In short, all these analysis are important and equally essential for proper planning. You should get the data and take some time to study it.

From here, the next thing that follows is maintenance. It is to fix what is wrong based on the existing analysis. Your target definitely is to get more visitors, to make visitors stay longer and finally to ensure the visitors exit through your goldmine. Therefore, promoting, upgrading or maintaining the site quality including writing attractive content, SEO and making advertisement or affiliate links more appealing. Anyway, maintaining is mainly focusing on archiving your project objectives.

And the cycles goes on…

In the nutshell, this framework is just from my personal experience managing blogs with make money online as my main objective. Yes, it is far from perfect but this is certainly not the bottom line of everything that is being talked about in this blog. I will continue with my research and study almost definitely. First cycle – Research and study > Draft & objective > Plan and prepare > Action

Second cycle – Feedback > Analysis > Maintain quality

First and most fundamental, it comes toward understand the basic framework of make money blogging. So to say, blogging is kinda similar to any work project whereby ‘researches and studies’ comes first. It is to get basic input about blogging and how to monetize it. So it is not about researching and studying about other topic subjects but the subject of how to make money and blogging itself. There are 101 methods to get profit from our blog, so research is to determine the objective after reviewing all the pros and cons for each method including compatibility with your chosen niche and ability. For a beginner, this period will take longer as it is also meant to give you the feel and vibe of blogging and learn everything a person should know when the want to kick start as a profitable blogger.

The next thing that you should do is to have a draft of objective. But remember, it is best to jump to this next step when you’re confident enough that you have all the necessary and sufficient knowledge to continue with your main pursue. So, after you are determined that you have had enough information, you will need to take time to think of the most secured and fastest way to maximize the outcome. Analyze the sources, make a list of things that you’re going to do and most importantly, be sure to do it without straying away from the main objective. Examples of thing that we should include in the drafting process are whether to use self-hosted blogging, the kind of platform, the type of make money program to join, the target profit, niche, the content sources, progressing period to monitor et cetera.

After all putting all of your brainstorming and thinking skills into practice, next you should be ready for the preparation part of the plan. Yes, preparation is indeed one of the biggest parts of the big plan in make money online. At this stage, you are standing at the threshold of the actual product on the run, which is the state where the blog is next to coming alive. Most people start with registering their blog name. Next in sequence is to search for the best template (that includes appearance, compatibility and interface friendly). Then, you should start to prepare the contents (with good keywords) and the back up plan. Preparation is not something one should underestimate because lack of it can give you more trouble sooner or later in this project. Obviously, a good and well-planned preparation will ensure everything goes smoothly and able to avoid crisis and fatal mistake. You wouldn’t want to redo the whole thing all over again, and this kinda thing is possible to happen when there is not enough preparation effort.

Last in cycles 1 is action. After you filled your blog with contents, submit your blog to site directory and search engine, promoting and starting to get traffic. Now it’s a climax where the blog goes alive and to be viewed by the world. Depend on choice, after sometimes we can join monetizing program such as adsense, chitika etc. ‘Action’ is indeed listed last in cycle 1 but it is actually the trigger for cycle 2 where the process will take longer and requires more effort.

What is my vision?

Definitely to see all my efforts worthwhile. There is something I want to aim at. Not only to make money, but to test out my skills. The first time I started blogging, I was kinda scared. A lot of questions pop up into my mind even until now; what should I do to be a great blogger? Is this thing suits me? What if my blog is nowhere to be found? What if my blog is not attractive? What if people make fun of me? What to response if something like that ever happened etc. But slowly I became attached to blogging, and it was fun actually. Blogging is like nurturing a baby. It will grow by time, matured with rapid progress though there are times when I’m clueless on what I should write. Yeah, sometimes it is exciting to see how it will become in the future. Should I say, something to look forward to everyday. So my short aim is getting listed in search engines, climbing up the rank. My second goal is to earn money through it. Last but not least, it’s all for the sake of fun and hobby

So far how much did I earn?

Sadly, it was little. It was like struggling between me, time and my uncertainties. And because of my dumbness or perhaps ignorance, I took a long time to grasps the techniques and principles of blogging, moreover on how to make money online. So this blog will be my first step to make a start over, along with my other blogs. But since the others needed to be modified so it will took a little time before it regain its previous state. Yes, I made many errors before and fixed many parts of them here and there. This is my point of making this blog, to share my mistakes and how to get the best from our blog.
